FEATURED ACTIVITIES
International Visitors Office
The International Visitors Office serves as resource on visa-related issues for NAS and NRC international visitors, and for scientists and students traveling to the United States for professional activities.
Committee on Human Rights
The committee works on behalf of scientists, engineers, and health professionals anywhere in the world who are unjustly detained or imprisoned for exercising their basic human rights.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS
Using the common language of science, the NAS works cooperatively with scientists, engineers, and medical professionals worldwide to address unprecedented challenges that threaten the health and welfare of all people, as well as the planet on which we live.
Our efforts are focused on four main areas: global challenges, capacity building, scientific cooperation, and advising the U.S. government.
